I have a 95 plymouth neon with the check engine code p0743 displayed.?

While Driving it sometimes the car cuts out like your patting the fuel and trying to stop. Can this and the code be related...Thanks

I looked up that code and under the generic code list it states it torque converter related but in the electrical circuit of the torque converter and yes that could cause it to stall out etc.
