360 magnum crate engine help?

i have a 1971 dodge demon and it has a 225 slant six with a 7 1/4 rear with 2.76 gears. first thing i will do is instll a 8 3/4 rear with 3.23 or 3.55 gears. next is paint and then engine and then interior. for the engine i want to either get a 318 and

keep your tires pumped up to 35 lbs. and put a 2.76 gear in that 8 3/4" rearend your going to put in, I wouldn't worry about the gas mileage if this car is not going to be your everyday driver and just a car to take to car cruises.
