Is a Volvo Penta 3.0 boat engine a good brand? does it last long?

how good are volvo penta boat engines? are they known to have any problems or durability issues or not?

Volvo has a good service record and history. I've always thought the 3.0 is a little small for many boats, but that is true for all major brands. I have owned 2 boats with AQ130 engines and they ran better than both OMC and Mercruisers available at
